Winnipeg man wanted for murder arrested in Ontario

After spending nearly seven months on the run, a Winnipeg man wanted for murder has been caught in Waterloo, Ont.

Benjamin Traverse, 39, was shot November 28, 2016 and died from his injuries.

Officers said the suspects then robbed two other people, forced them into a car and drove them to East St. Paul.

The two victims were then shot before the suspects ran off. Both victims survived.

James Jewel, 26, was arrested in January, a month after police issued Canada-wide warrants for the arrests of the suspects.

Police in Waterloo located Michael Fless, 30, and arrested him Friday.

Both men face charges of second degree murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, robbery and breaching probation.
