Guelph police seek information related to child sex assault suspect who lived in London

Police in Guelph are looking to speak with anyone in the London area who may have information related to a suspect accused of offences against children.

Officers say Leigh Taylor, 64, was arrested in March on a count each of sexual assault and sexual interference.

This past Sunday, Taylor was charged with 12 additional counts involving four additional victims.

These additional charges include five counts of sexual assault, sexual interference, three counts of exposure to a person under 16 years and three counts of indecent acts.

According to Guelph police, Taylor has lived in several other areas of the province including Windsor, London, and Toronto.

He was also involved in a number of community activities that involved children and youth.

Police say there is no statute of limitations on crimes of this nature, and their investigation is ongoing.
