Human remains have been found in the Rural Municipality of Springfield, Man., according to Manitoba RCMP.
On Thursday at 10:15 a.m., Oakbank RCMP responded to a call of possible human remains in the area, just east of Winnipeg.

When officers investigated they confirmed the remains were human.
The RCMP serious crimes unit and the forensic identification section are investigating.
