Police say a man in his 80s was taken to hospital in serious condition. He remains stable this morning.

The other victims were two teenage boys. They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They have both since been released.

The driver is being investigated for impaired driving. “But we also look at road conditions, we look at the time of day, the natural light, were there any distractions, was there a mechanical issue?” said Const. Jason Doucette with the Vancouver police. “So these are all things we look at, including the accounts from the driver, the witnesses, the people that were hurt, and then we try to figure out what happened here, how we can best avoid it in the future.”
