A 43-year-old man has been charged in connection with a 2016 sexual assault in northeast Edmonton.
Police said the man took a woman to Hermitage Park in his cab on Oct. 13, 2016, where she was allegedly assaulted.
It was reported to officers on Oct. 25, 2016.
Police said the man and woman knew each other, and had several conversations online, starting in July 2016. EPS said the alleged assault happened after the two had gone on a few dates.
Tarek Diab, 43, was charged Monday with sexual assault causing bodily harm.
Investigators think there might be other complainants, and are asking anyone with information to contact EPS at 780-423-4567. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online.
