Charges laid after man allegedly exposed himself at Fort McMurray public pool

A Fort McMurray man was arrested after police allege he exposed himself at a public pool on Monday.

Pool staff called the police at around 2:30 p.m. after they said they saw a man exposing himself in front of a child.

Wood Buffalo RCMP arrested a 59-year-old suspect at MacDonald Island Park shortly after they received the report.

Robert Huntington has been charged with committing an indecent act, adult exposure of genitals to a person under 16 and failure to comply with a prohibition order.

Huntington is in custody and is scheduled to appear in provincial court on May 29.

Wood Buffalo RCMP are asking people who witnessed the offence to contact them by phone at 780-788-4000 or anonymously online.
