A woman began singing the song following a minute of silence.

The crowd quickly joined in, singing along to the chorus of one of Oasis’ most popular songs. The group hails from Manchester.

Video footage of the poignant moment was shared on Twitter.

Oasis’ Noel Gallagher, who wrote the song, took to Twitter to share one of the videos.

Guardian reporter Josh Halliday spoke with Lydia Bernsmier-Rullow, the woman who was first inspired to sing the song. “Don’t Look back in Anger — that’s what this is about,” she said. “We can’t be looking backward to what happened, we have to look forwards to the future.”
