The day before, Brunelle was spotted in the alley behind the hotel suffering from injuries that likely resulted from an assault.  Someone took Brunelle back to his room, but he was not checked on until the following afternoon, by then it was too late.

The pub located just downstairs from the hotel is no stranger to trouble. The Baselines Pub is an establishment known for holding the so called “church meetings” of the Hells Angels West Point Chapter.

Investigators are looking for anyone that knows what led up to Kevin Brunelle’s initial assault, or his movements prior to his untimely death.
