Man taken to hospital after stabbing downtown Toronto

A man in his 20s is in serious condition after a stabbing in downtown Toronto early Sunday.

Toronto Police said officers responded to a call at 5:05 a.m. about a stabbing at George and Dundas streets.

Toronto EMS said a man was taken to hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition, suffering multiple stab wounds to his torso.

There is no suspect information at this time.

Toronto Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call them or Crime Stoppers.
