York Regional Police find missing 65-year-old Toronto man with Alzheimer’s disease

A 65-year-old Toronto man with Alzheimer’s disease has been found over a day after he was reported missing.

Police said in a media release Thomas Da Silva was last spotted around 8:30 a.m. Monday in the Bathurst Street and Ranee Avenue area.

York Regional Police found the man in Vaughan on Tuesday.

Family members told Global News Da Silva’s disappearance was out of character for him.
