A man in his 20s is dead following a shooting in East York Saturday night.
Toronto Police said officers responded to a call at 9:00 p.m. about sounds of gunshots at Meighen Avenue near Victoria Park and Dawes Road. Later calls reported that there was a man who appeared unconscious lying in front of a building on Meighen.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died, according to police.

The man was identified as 28-year-old Mohamed Abdulkadir Ali.
There is no information at this time in regard to suspect(s).
