A Hamilton man was killed in this week’s 30-vehicle pileup and chemical spill on the 401 near Kingston.
OPP have identified him as 45-year-old Ian Melville.
The OPP say Melville’s truck was carrying a toxic chemical that leaked from the rig, causing the highway’s lengthy closure while crews worked to clean up the spill.
The collisions happened Tuesday at the height of a snowstorm.
Provincial police say the road reopened in both directions shortly before 10 p.m.
