Snoop Dogg takes a political stand in his brand-new music video for BadBadNotGood’s Lavender (Nightfall Remix) when he takes on police brutality and U.S. President Donald Trump.
In what looks to be a mock assassination of the Clown-in-Chief Ronald Klump, a Parody of President Trump in the video, Snoop pulls a fake gun on a clown version of President Trump in the satirical video.

YouTube star Jesse Wellens took on the directing gig for the cinematic music video, saying he’s proud of what they accomplished: “I’m just proud of the entire piece altogether.”
Fans took to Twitter to react to the controversial video.

Following furor over Snoop Dogg’s none-too-subtle jab at the president, a lawyer representing Donald Trump has responded.
“Its absolutely disgraceful,” said lawyer Michael Cohen in an interview with TMZ on Tuesday. “Snoop owes the president an apology. There’s nothing funny about an assassination attempt on a president.”
Trump himself responded to the music video on Twitter on Wednesday. He claimed that Snoop Dogg’s career is failing and that if it had been Barack Obama in the video instead of Trump, the rapper would have gone to jail:
As Cohen sees it, he would feel the same way had it been Obama and not Trump being depicted in the video.
