A suspected hit-and-run in the north Okanagan has put a 56-year-old pedestrian in hospital with serious injuries.
RCMP say they were called to Old Sicamous Road and Grandview Bench Road in Grindrod at about 6:30 p.m. Monday.
They say the man’s injuries are consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
Officers spoke with numerous people but didn’t find anyone who saw the collision.
Police would like to contact the driver of a small, red crew-cab pickup truck that was seen in the area.
Tips can be provided to the Armstrong RCMP at 250-546-3028 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
