Fire investigators remained on scene of a southeast Calgary condominium complex Sunday, monitoring hotspots and trying to determine what sparked a fire in the building.
The flames broke out just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of 52 Street S.E.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire on the main floor, and then headed to the basement, where they believe the fire started, and extinguished the rest of the flames.
The family of five that lives in the suite where the fire started was able to get out of the home safely. The neighbouring suite was also evacuated as a precaution.
No injuries were reported.
