Neighbours say they are shocked after a drive-by shooting in Redstone early Friday morning.
They told Global News it’s not the first time there has been trouble at the cranberry-coloured duplex on Redstone Avenue N.E.
“I have seen police presence before…I was just talking on the way to my wife that we should sell our house,” said a neighbour, who declined to give their name.
“It scares me,” said another. “I have a small kid and my mom is here from India and it scares her, as well.”
Eight bullet holes are visible in the front vinyl siding of the duplex.
There are two more holes in the front window and shell casings on the ground.
Each hole is marked by Calgary police forensic evidence tape. Investigators said Friday afternoon it’s an ongoing investigation.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Redstone Avenue N.E. at about 3:40 a.m.
No one was injured.
Police said it’s too early in the investigation to know if the incident was random or targeted.
