In a separate incident at about 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 25, the Burnaby RCMP responded to an arson at the same business located in the 5600-block of Hastings Street.

A witness saw a man throw something, later identified by police as a smoke grenade, through the store’s window. A small fire began on the ground in the front of the business.
