An unidentified man is facing drug
charges after being pulled over in Rutland Monday.
The police officer spotted the
suspect, who was prohibited driver, behind the wheel of a black Ford F150 heading northbound on Harvey Avenue and
phoned it in to Central Okanagan Traffic Services.

A traffic cop spotted the truck and
pulled it over on Highway 33 in the Wendy’s parking lot. The officer smelled
marijuana coming from the cab of the truck where police recovered more than
seven pounds of bud. Police also seized
$7,000 in cash.
The owner of the vehicle – a
25-year-old man from Trail — is facing drug charges.
