Toronto police say 21-year-old Shayne MacDonald is armed and dangerous. He’s wanted by police for second-degree murder and attempted murder after a fatal stabbing near College and Dufferin Street.
Police have identified the victim as Sarah Vermelhudo, 38, of Toronto.
Officers responded to a call for a person with a knife at around 8 p.m. Friday night and found two women with serious stab wounds.
Both were rushed to hospital where Vermelhudo succumbed to her injuries. The other woman is expected to make a full recovery.
MacDonald is described as 5’10”, 160 lbs., with light-brown hair.
