A 28-year-old man has been charged after police found a substantial amount of marijuana at a home in Sherwood Park.
On Monday morning, the Strathcona County RCMP and Alberta Law Enforcement Response team found 85 marijuana plants and cultivation equipment at a residence in the Strathcona Village neighbourhood. Police searched the home after getting information from the public.

David Chevalier is facing charges of production of marihuana and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. He was released from custody and is scheduled to be in Sherwood Park Provincial Court on Wednesday morning.
Strathcona County RCMP is encouraging residents to call the drug tip line at (780) 410-4357 to report any type of drug activity.
