Calgary students stuff socks for homeless people

The students at Sunalta School took part in what has become an annual tradition Wednesday, putting together items to donate to the Mustard Seed.

The entire school participates in the program which sees items like tissues, toothpaste, toothbrushes, skin cream, money for bus tickets and socks gathered to give to Calgary’s homeless.

The grade six students gathered in the school’s gym Wednesday morning to put the items into the socks as a part of the Mustard Seed’s “Warm Feet for the Street” initiative.
