Toronto’s snow storm caused grief for commuters on Monday but that didn’t stop the Toronto Zoo panda cubs from blissfully enjoying the wintry weather event for the first time ever.

A video posted on the zoo’s Twitter account shows Jian Panpan — meaning “Canadian Hope” — and Jia Yueyue — “Canadian Joy” — pouncing and tumbling in the snow together.

The playful twins, both of whom celebrated their first birthday in October, have been a major attraction for the city.

Another video recorded on the zoo’s security camera showed Da Mao, the zoo’s adult panda, somersaulting down a snowy slope.

The brother and sister, as well as Da Mao, continue to reside in the Toronto Zoo until 2018 when they will then be relocated to the Calgary Zoo.

VIDEO: Visitors helped the Toronto Zoo celebrate the first birthday for Jian Panpan and Jia Yueyue, the two giant panda cubs that were born at the zoo last year.
