UPDATE, Dec. 14, 2016: Schafer was found and arrested in Vancouver without incident. He remains in custody.
A 39-year-old high-risk offender with a history of break-and-enter, sexual assault and assaulting a police officer is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Christopeher Russell Schafer failed to return to his halfway house on Dec. 10 and police issued a nation-wide warrant for his arrest.
Schafer is described as Aboriginal, 5’8″ tall, 168 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of ‘Wanda Lee’ on the left side of his neck.
Anyone who spots Schafer or has information on his location is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers.
