There may only be a few days a year you can go sledding in Metro Vancouver, but thanks to our hills, the options are seemingly endless.
Heading to the hills of North and West Vancouver is the obvious choice for many, but other areas like Vancouver and Burnaby also have some great slopes.

North Shore
Cleveland Park in North Vancouver. A nice steep slope on the way to Grouse Mountain is ideal for sledders of all ages.
Carisbrooke Park, North Vancouver. Up on the top of Lonsdale Ave. is a nice gentle slope for tobogganing.
Burnaby
Burnaby Mountain Park. Hefty snowfall means excellent sledding conditions on Burnaby Mountain.
New Westminster
Queens Park. New Westminster’s best place for sledding.
Vancouver
Queen Elizabeth Park. Lots of hills to be found here!
China Creek North Park, East Vancouver. A solid and safe hill for all.
West Point Park, Point Grey. The best place on the West Side for some sledding.
