Sask. landlord charged with sexual assault, RCMP say there may be more victims

A 63-year-old landlord from Meadow Lake, Sask has been charged with sexual assault.

According to RCMP, in October police received a complaint from an individual who alleged they were sexually assaulted by their landlord in the community located in northwestern Saskatchewan.

Police said another victim and a former tenant came forward with a second allegation a short time later.

Roger Epp was arrested and charged on Dec. 5. His charges includes one count of sexual assault and two counts of communicating for the purpose of obtaining sexual services.

Police said one of the charges dates back to an incident in November 2011 while the other charges are from a recent incident in October.

During their investigation, RCMP learned there may be more victims. Anyone with information has been asked to call Meadow Lake RCMP at 306-236-2570 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Epp has been released from custody and will appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Jan. 16.
