Just in time for the holiday season, Geordie Productions is getting ready to premier its play, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” at Concordia University’s D.B. Clarke Theater on Dec. 10 and 11.
“It’s a Wonderful Life” is the story of George Bailey, a small-town man with big dreams to see the world, but circumstances force him to stay in his hometown of Bedford Falls.
Bailey sacrifices his education to take over the family business and save the town from greedy bankers.
He is about to commit suicide when he is paid visit from his guardian angel, who shows him what life in Bedford Falls would be like if he had never lived.

Cast members Justice Pepita Capriolo and Dr. David Morris dropped by Global News Morning to talk about the upcoming production.
“It’s come back to life again,” Morris said.
“If you listen to the underlying story of good people in the world of Trump, I think it has a resonance, which is wonderful.”
Tickets for Geordie Productions’ “It’s a Wonderful Life” can be purchased online, starting at $25.
