Regina restaurant robbed early Sunday morning

Regina police are looking for two suspects after John’s Place was robbed just before 2 a.m. CT Sunday.

At around 1:58 a.m. on Dec 4, police were called to the restaurant at 379 Albert Street for a robbery. According to police, two men entered the restaurant, then went to the bar and demanded money from a staff member.

Police said one of the suspects had a gun, while the other carried bear spray. One of the suspects also struck a staff member in the face.

The two suspects got an undisclosed amount of cash and as they left the bar, police said one of the suspects sprayed bear spray into the room.
According to an anonymous staff member, staff had to hide in the VLT section.

Police said the suspects may or may not have left in a waiting vehicle.

According to police, the suspects are believed to be male, 5’9″ and 5’10,” each weighing about 150 pounds. The suspects were wearing dark-coloured clothing.
