Porsche driver charged with stunt driving while license suspended

Twenty-six-year-old Tianhao Wu has been charged with stunt driving after police pulled over his vehicle early Friday morning.

A 33 Division traffic enforcement officer was checking for speeding vehicles in the Hwy. 404 and Finch Avenue East area at around 3 a.m. Friday.

It’s alleged Wu was going well over the posted speed limit and failed to stop his vehicle in an attempt to evade police.

When officers managed to stop Wu’s Porsche, they said he refused to provide a breath sample.

Wu was later arrested and charged with the following:

  1. speeding 172 km/h in a 100 km/h zone
  2. driving with a suspended licence
  3. stunt driving
  4. dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
  5. failing to stop for police
  6. refusing to provide breath sample
  7. failure to comply with probation

Officers are reminding the public to report dangerous and suspected impaired driving behaviour by calling Toronto police at 416-808-3300.
