Mounties search for Alberta man wanted for uttering threats against Stony Plain student

Mounties are asking the public for help finding a man wanted for allegedly uttering threats against a student west of Edmonton.

The threat resulted in a high school in Stony Plain to be placed on lockdown on Thursday.

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of 18-year-old Jeremy Lefebvre, also known as Jeremy Krause.

Lefebvre is described as having blue eyes and short brown hair, about five feet, eight inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds.

He may be wearing a grey tuque and white jacket.

Lefebvre is not considered dangerous, but police say if seen, people should not approach or confront him.
