RCMP say the body of Barry Heimbecker, who was reported missing in March, was found this past weekend near Swanson, Sask.
Around noon on Nov. 20, human remains were located by a hunter in the rural municipality of Montrose.

The autopsy was completed Wednesday and the remains identified as those of Heimbecker, 32.
RCMP do not believe Heimbecker’s death is suspicious and said there is no indication of foul play. The cause of death was not released.
The investigation has been turned over to the office of the chief coroner.
Saskatoon police had been asking for the public’s help in locating Heimbecker since March. He and a second man were last seen together at a residence in the Fairhaven community.
A girlfriend of one of the two men was contacted via cell phone by them at around 9:30 a.m. on March 20. The men were reportedly walking in a field towards Highway 7 near Vanscoy and were trying to get a ride.

On March 29, Saskatoon police announced the second man had been found.
A car associated with them at the time of their disappearance was found off Highway 45 near Swanson, Sask.
