Two videos uploaded by opposition-affiliated Syrian media outlets on Tuesday show a five-year-old girl being rescued from beneath the rubble in an eastern Aleppo neighbourhood.

According to Syrian Civil Defence, the girl is in stable condition.

AP could not independently confirm whether the man that appears in one of the videos is the girl’s father.

The two videos were shot in Aleppo’s al-Maysar neighbourhood, which was hit by several airstrikes on Tuesday, according to the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which monitors the conflict through activists on the ground.
