A prospective member of Donald Trump‘s cabinet accidentally divulged his proposed plans for strict crackdowns on Syrian refugees and “criminal aliens.”
Trump met with Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach Sunday, who was photographed holding a document outlining his plans should he become Department of Homeland Security secretary.

Kobach’s document can be seen to read: Department of Homeland Security – Kobach strategic plan for first 365 days. His arm is covering some of the text, but some key details can be seen.
Under the heading, “Bar the entry of potential terrorists,” Kobach’s plans include “All aliens from high-risk areas are tracked,” along with “extreme vetting questions for high-risk aliens.” Those extreme vetting plans include questions on Sharia law and jihad as well as men and women’s equality.

Syrian refugee intake would be reduced to zero under Kobach’s plan, using authority under the 1980 Refugee Act.
The next section, regarding “criminal aliens,” shows snippets of a plans for “any alien arrested for any crime, and any gang member.”
Another section, likely regarding the wall Trump promised would to be built along Mexico’s border, says, in part “in addition to the 386 miles of existing actual wall … have entire 1,989 miles planned for rapid build.”
The final section can be seen, in part, to discuss “voter rolls.”
Kobach’s hard stances fall in line with Trump’s campaign pledges.

Trump previously vowed to deport 11 million people living illegally in the U.S., and in the days after his election victory he estimated two or three million would be expelled. He has said Muslims should be banned from entering the U.S. and that mosques should be monitored.
Trump has been screening potential cabinet members in recent days . So far he has tapped Sen. Jeff Sessions as attorney general, Mike Pompeo as the head of CIA and Michael Flynn for the job of national security adviser.
