At least two people have been treated by paramedics after a chlorine leak in North Vancouver.

It happened at the Canexus Chemical Plant on Amherst Avenue.

Staff say the leak was small and has been contained.

In 2011, four people were taken to hospital after a similar leak at the plant.

Chlorine gas can be lethal and residents in the area have expressed concern about the plant’s location in the past.
