Cypress Mountain Resort has a new leaseholder.
Florida-based CNL Lifestyle Properties has sold the rights to the ski hill lease as part of a massive deal with two U.S companies – Och-Ziff and EPR Properties.
“The assets have changed hands,” Cypress Mountain spokesperson Joffrey Koeman said. “The management team remains unchanged so it’s business as usual. The skier or rider will not see any effect of this.”
The deal, worth hundreds of millions of dollars, also includes 13 resorts across the U.S.
Two months ago, Grouse Mountain was put up for sale and bids are now coming in. Tony Quattrin of CBRE, the firm marketing the property, told Global News Grouse Mountain is getting a lot of interest. He says it’s worth more than $100 million.
