Reflecting on the importance of remembering – Nov 11, 2016

As an active member of the Military Police, Cpl. Bryan Palma wants Canadians to know the importance of remembering.

He’s stationed at the Canadian Forces Base in Dundurn, south of Saskatoon.

“The thing about remembrance is we remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice” Palma said.

He added that that whether it’s those who fought in previous wars, current wars or who served at home, “we need just to remember and reflect.”

When asked if he fears the message Nov. 11 being lost, he replied simply that he doesn’t think that will happen.

“The men and women who have served, who have made this country great, it’s astronomical,” Palma said.

“I don’t think that will ever go away.”
