WINNIPEG — A young Jets fan that charmed Canadians last year has finished her cancer treatments.
Alyx Delaloye, the seven-year-old battling Leukemia who won over Jets fans with her Jumbotron appearances in February of 2015, is out of hospital and feeling a lot better.
Her mother announced the news in a Facebook post written this week.
“She is doing well so far but please keep praying for her!” Jody Delaloye said online.

She said that some Winnipeg players even came to Alyx’s last in-hospital treatment on their day off to celebrate.
Adam Lowry, Mark Stuart, Blake Wheeler, Michael Hutchinson, and scoring sensation Patrik Laine greeted Alyx at the CancerCare Manitoba centre on October 22nd.

Alyx first made headlines last year when she appeared on the Jumbotron during a Jets game with a sign proclaiming her love for the team.
She was diagnosed with cancer in July 2014 when she was six years old, undergoing chemotherapy in Winnipeg for more than two years.
Alyx stole the hearts of many fans and athletes, even stopping the hockey game for a brief time as players from the Jets and Dallas Stars applauded her by banging their sticks on the ice.

She was in headlines again in in April of 2015 after another Jets fan started a bracelet fundraiser to support the Delaloyes.
