2 men suspected of stealing poppy donation boxes east of Toronto

Two men are wanted for allegedly stealing poppy donation boxes in Ajax, Ont. Durham Regional Police

Police are seeking the public’s help identifying two men suspected of stealing four poppy donations boxes east of Toronto.

Durham Regional Police said in a media release three of the thefts took place on Nov. 6 and the other two days later, all of them in Ajax.

Surveillance video shows two of the thefts took place at an Esso gas station and a Tim Hortons restaurant.

Police said the boxes contained between $10 and $50 each.

The first suspect is described as male, black, approximately 20 years old, long hair pulled into a ponytail, beard and wearing red baggy pants and a black Carolina Panthers jacket with a poppy affixed to the left chest.

The second man is described as black, early 20s, wearing a multi-coloured Columbia jacket, white baggy pants and white shoes.
