Lakeshore Players Dorval is kicking off its 52nd season with The Inspector General, a comedy about political corruption.
“It’s absolutely hilarious,” said Jeremy Glenn, Lakeshore Players Dorval president.
“It has nothing to do with actual politics.”
The company is a non-profit, volunteer-based theatre group made up of professionals and amateurs.
It puts on three productions per season.
“Everybody donates their time,” Glen said.
“We’re by the community and for the community.”
The group will be putting on several performances of the play at Lakeside Academy.
Opening night is Nov. 10.
