Two rescued sea otter pups at the Vancouver Aquarium were introduced Friday to their new best friend, Rialto, a younger pup transferred from the Seattle Aquarium.

And let us tell you, it was pretty darn cute.

The two sea otter pups were rescued and rehabilitated at the Alaska SeaLife Centre and transferred to Vancouver earlier this week.

Rialto has been at the aquarium since September, and now finally has a couple of new playmates to befriend.

Though he was timid at first, nuzzling up to his trainer’s boot, unsure of who these two strange sea otters were, it didn’t take long for him to warm up.

Three sea otter pups playing together? It can’t get much more adorable than that.
