MONTREAL – Montreal basketball fans can put a name to their new team.
The National Basketball League of Canada unveiled the Montreal Jazz as the newest franchise in the nine-team league.

Argentina native Alejandro Hasbani was named head coach of the Jazz, who will play out of the Centre Pierre Charbonneau. The team’s first game is Saturday in Saint John.
The Jazz will host defending champion London Lightning in their home opener on Nov. 18.
The NBL was formed in 2011.
