Halifax police ask for help in cold case

Halifax Regional Police are asking for help solving a cold case.

Sunday will mark the 40th anniversary of the murder of Florence Ann Keeble.

Keeble went missing from school on October 29, 1976. Her body was found by two hunters off Old Sambro Road on October 30, 1976.

She was 17-years-old at the time of her death.

Police believe there are people who have information that could result in an arrest.

The murder is still considered under investigation.

This case is part of the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
