Today

Election day has been pretty perfect weather-wise for voting!

Some sunshine in the morning followed by clouds rolling back in with temperatures back to -1 overnight with some fog, but up to 3 C by 6 a.m. before pushing into mid-single digits by noon.

This afternoon we’re looking at mostly cloudy skies sticking around with temperatures pushing up toward 8 C or so.

Tonight

Mostly cloudy skies will stick around tonight with temperatures dipping back toward the freezing mark overnight before warming a degree or so by morning.

Thursday

It looks like we could see another foggy morning with early morning fog patches expected that should dissipate in time for most people’s morning commute.

The next system will slide by during the day on Thursday with cloudy skies and a chance of morning and afternoon showers.

Temperatures should top out close to or possibly even into double digits tomorrow and if we do, that would be Saskatoon’s sixth day in double digits so far this month.

Friday

There is a chance of overnight and early morning showers on Friday as that low pressure system slides by south of the city early in the day with some cooler air left behind.

Overcast skies will fill the remainder of the day with an afternoon high pushed back into mid-single digits.

Weekend/Halloween Outlook

We could catch a few rays on Saturday as the next system slides into Alberta on Saturday, helping push temperatures back up a degree or two to around 7 C under partly to mostly cloudy skies.

This next system looks to slide by right through central Saskatchewan, with the main band of precipitation to the north of the region keeping our daytime high pretty steady around seven degrees under mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of showers.

Then for Halloween on Monday it looks like it’ll be a mostly cloudy day with just the slightest chance of a few sprinkles, but it will be a bit cooler behind the weekend system, with a high around 3 C.

Temperatures when the kids head out look like they’ll be around or just above the freezing mark.
