Police say no crime committed after ‘suspicious circumstances’ reported at Kelowna schools

RCMP say a man police were hoping to speak to, after reports of suspicious circumstances at Kelowna schools, has come forward.

After speaking with the man, officers are satisfied no crime took place.

“The discussion has provided us with clarity into the teen’s intentions, which has satisfied investigators that they were not criminal in nature,” said Cst. Jesse O’Donaghey in a media release.

On Monday police put out a media release asking the public for help identifying a man who had apparently been seen at a number of Kelowna area schools.
