Woman arrested after man taken to Saskatoon hospital with multiple stab wounds

A 42-year-old woman was arrested by Saskatoon police after a stabbing on Saturday.

At around 2:15 p.m. CT, officers were called to an injured man at a residence in the 800-block of 20th Street West.

Police arrived and found that the 42-year-old victim had already been driven to hospital by a citizen. He was suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The woman, who was known to the victim, was taken into custody at the scene. She is facing a charge of aggravated assault.

Members from the police’s targeted enforcement unit and forensic identification section are assisting with the investigation.
