Women are rallying behind a new title given to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during the final presidential debate Wednesday night.
The third debate started as a calm, policy-focused face-off, but turned into a deeply personal confrontation as Donald Trump audibly called Clinton a “nasty woman,” while the Democrat panned him as “unfit” to be commander in chief.

Clinton supporters quickly took the title to heart.
“Strong women are nasty women,” one tweet reads.
“Taking my daughters to vote with me so I can raise some nasty women,” reads another.
The hashtag #NastyWomenVote was trending on Twitter.
Shirts with the phrase are cropping up for sale (in both male and female sizes.)
The website NastyWomenGetS–tDone.com now redirects to Clinton’s campaign website. (It’s not clear if the website existed before Wednesday.)
It’s not the first time an opponent’s comments have become a rallying call: Last month, Clinton called the Republican nominee’s fanbase a “basket of deplorables,” which some Trump supporters claimed as their own.

“To just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it,” she said.
