Saskatoon police have arrested a man who had barricaded himself inside a Mount Royal neighbourhood home on Wednesday.

He was taken into custody without incident. The situation in the 800-block of Avenue V North concluded at around 5:10 p.m. CT.

Police say current charges include dangerous driving and breach of a court order.

Traffic restrictions in the area have been lifted.
