Remember the Montreal Canadiens super fan who paid big bucks to vent about the P.K. Subban trade?
Well, he’s now making a $250,000 donation over five years – in addition to his unopened 2016-17 Canadiens seasons tickets – to the star defenceman’s charity at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Charles Kowalski, known as Dr. CK, shelled out $20,000 to take out a full page ad in the Montreal Gazette to complain about the trade.
At the time, Habs fans took to social media to express their anger and disappointment, vowing to cancel their season tickets.

“My family and I will only be attending one home game this season, on March 2, 2017 – when Nashville visits Montreal,” he had written in the ad.
“I do not, and will not support, Marc Bergevin and Michel Therrien. And make no mistake, my fellow fans: attending games at the Bell Centre is a vote of confidence in their leadership.”
Kowalski and his wife had originally pledged $50,000.

The Ottawa couple presented the cheque Wednesday afternoon.
