Possible metal shavings in meat prompt recall at Port McNeill IGA

The possible presence of metal shavings in meat and meat products has prompted a recall at the Port McNeill IGA.

Health Canada is warning consumers should not eat the following recalled products, sold at the IGA located at 1705 Campbell Way in Port McNeill.

Health Canada says if you have any of the recalled products in your home you should throw them away or return them to the store.

The IGA in Port McNeill initiated this recall. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is currently conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
