Police have one person in custody after a chase that started in Moose Jaw, Sask. and ended in Regina.

According to RCMP, at around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, an armed man entered a gas station and demanded cigarettes and money.

The suspect fled in a black 4 door car heading east towards Regina.

RCMP spotted the vehicle when it got stuck on a gravel road near Pinkie Road. The suspect fled the vehicle but was arrested by RCMP a short time later at a CP Rail Yard.

The 31-year-old Regina man is facing numerous charges including armed robbery. He will make his first court appearance on Thursday morning. His name has not been released by police.
