Homicide team called after body found in Burnaby homeless camp

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is now looking into the discovery of a body in Burnaby.

The body of 56-year-old Kevin Knuff was found in a homeless camp near North Road and Lougheed Highway shortly after noon on Sunday. Burnaby RCMP officers were called to the scene.

IHIT says the death is not related to a homicide where a woman was found dead at a business in Burnaby last week.

The cause of Knuff’s death is unknown.
